·  Slim Floor Integrated Design Software – ‘SIDS’ – designs and analyses flooring solutions utilizing both Slimflor® Fabricated Beams (SFB) and Asymmetric Slimflor Beams (ASB)

New features:

·  Presentation of design schemes utilizing ASB and Slimflor sections satisfying the design criteria, and the facility to select and optimise an individual solution.

·  PC units may be selected from a list of common units, for Slimflor beams a new check has been introduced for PC unit end shear.

·  PC units may be automatically selected based on span and buildability criteria.

·  Slimflor® beams may be designed as edge beams in conjunction with PC units.

·  Slimflor® beams may be designed with pattern loading

· PC unit end shear capacity check revised;  limited to 0.35 PC shear capacity.  Applied shear calculation revised to PFF recommendations.

· 2 PC units removed (Carter Wideslab H250 and Tarmac Spiroll IHE 320). Program now offers only PC units that can be used with the ASB beams supplied with the program

· Program uses plastic modulus of section when there is no torsion
