SCI receives a delegation from Korea led by RIST

SCI received a delegation from Korea led by RIST (Research Institute for Science and Technology), who were interested in learning latest developments in steel cladding technology, energy conservation, and fire engineering. RIST is a member of SCI, and the delegation included representatives from the Universities of Korea, Soeul, and Pohang, who are active in these research areas.

Presentations were made by Mark Lawson, Roland Chuter and Ian Simms in the above subject areas. The delegation leader was Dr. In Hwa Chang of RIST and the delegation was greeted by Bassam Burgan of SCI. Following meetings are planned in the area of cladding technology, including Arup Facades.
