Offsite Construction (OSC) Magazine Awards Launch 2009
Call for Entries Now Open
This year OSC will be hosting the 3rd OSC Magazine Awards celebrating all that is great and good about the world of prefabrication and factory-controlled manufacture - from materials, products and systems to construction, design and delivery. Since its launch in 2007, the OSC Magazine Awards has now become a staple part of the Construction Awards calendar, being the only event of its kind in the UK.
OSC have a wide range of categories to attract every type and size of project. As ever, OSC aim to please and reflect the changes in the industry, so this year there are 2 new categories, plus a special prize rewarding International Projects.
All winners go forward to be considered by OSC's expert industry Judging Panel – drawn from all sectors and disciplines within the industry – for the Gold Award for Overall Offsite Excellence. OSC are now accepting entries for the following categories:

- Best Use of Timber
- Best Offsite Health Project
- Best Offsite Education Project
- Best Offsite Housing Project
- Best Demonstration of Sustainability
- Best Product or System
- Best Small Scheme or Self-Build Project * new for 2009
- OSC Award for Architecture & Design Excellence * new for 2009
- International Prize * new for 2009
Expressions of interest for supplying a 2009 Award Entry is 1 June, however completed application forms can be with OSC later in the Summer.

Important: Remember, OSC's 2009 event will be a smart lunch date instead of a traditional evening soiree! It will take place during Interbuild09 within the NEC itself so attendees have reduced travel, hotel bills and all-round fuss this year. Simple and more sustainable.
