New SCI Advisory Desk Manager

We are pleased to announce that Abdul Malik has taken over as Manager of our Advisory Desk. Many of you will know Abdul, who joined SCI at its inception in 1986.

Abdul’s particular areas of expertise include tubular construction and steelwork connections; he is a long standing member of the Industry Connections Group and of the ECCS committee TC10. He has also been closely involved in the preparation of many of our design guides, including the new guides to the Eurocodes, due to be published soon.

The strength of SCI’s Advisory Service is that when you ring our Advisory Desk you have access to a whole range of experts.  So, as well as calling upon Abdul’s considerable experience, the technical expertise of all our staff can be called upon to provide answers to your questions.
