Access Steel – Eurocodes made easy at www.access-steel.com is a completely free, fast and easy route to application of Eurocode 3 for steel and Eurocode 4 for composite construction, and was developed by the steel technical institutes of Europe.  The website offers quality assured, harmonised, multi-lingual European technical guidance for the design of single storey, multi-storey and residential construction.  Special coverage is also given to the new opportunities for Fire Safety Engineering in the Eurocodes.  Contents include:-

• 250+ technical resources such as Worked Examples, Non-contradictory complementary information (NCCIs) & Case Studies;
• Direct links to the relevant Eurocode clauses in English;
• Element design software and fully interactive Worked Examples.

In order to facilitate access to this excellent information, design offices across Europe can incorporate a free search box on their own websites, intranets and/or e-zines which will allow employees and visitors to their sites to search and retrieve relevant resources direct from Access Steel.  The search box can be in one of five languages - English, French, German, Spanish or Czech.  There is no need for registration; users simply type in their search word or phrase and a list of matching resources is automatically revealed.
