A Complete Fire Service

SCI has completed its first full scale fire test in association with its new Czech partner company. The results are to be used by Studwelders for performance assessment and design software as they launch their new deck range on the market supported by SCI technology.

By partnering with an accredited Czech test house and using its links with European partners, SCI has been able to offer an one-stop-shop service to bring product rapidly to the market.

"We were offered a testing and assessment service with very short lead time” said Managing Director Steve Haines of Studwelders. “Moreover, I observed impeccable onsite service during the full-scale testing. As a result we are looking at results which will surprise the market”.

SCI now offer, what we believe to be, the most cost-effective structural fire testing service in the market. When combined with other services such as SCI Assessed, engineering software and information products, SCI are pioneering partnership approaches with manufacturers to becoming credible and marketable products.

SCI are using a mixture of technical expertise, brand reliance and dissemination routes to the designer market to support manufacturers launching products to the structural steelwork market.
