| Objective |
The objective of the project was to develop a software tool that will extend the limit of applicability of traditional Biggs to account for unequal support capacities, finite support axial and rotational stiffness and capacity, strain rate effects and improved methods for determining plastic strains. The SATEL software was designed to facilitate the adoption of the method and its uptake among engineers by providing a quality assured product that is simple and easy-to-use. |
